The Shadow Creek Project

It was 1977 when first I started playing guitar. It started out just for fun but soon grew to much more. I was living in Tennessee at the time and it was a camp-fire party thing on weekends. But then we wanted more. To learn what was on the radio, and one thing led to another. Soon we were trying to play every hit that caught our ears. I never really had any favorite musicians or influenceses. But I did find a love for southern rock and the blues. In 1998 I bought my first bass guitar. Not out of desire to play bass, but out of need for the instrument. No one played or had any bass guitars, so I began a new era in music. Doing so I developed a great admiration for the instrument. I still play guitar and banjo but find myself very much at home on the bass and enjoy playing it more than ever.
